Larkspur Basket in Scarlet
I find a basket with a lid quite wonderful. It all began when I crafted one for a knitter friend, aiming to protect her projects from wood ash and pet dander. The idea stuck with me over the years. Even now, I have one in my bedroom holding my handmade quilt. Similarly, my father stores his lap blankets in his, while some friends use theirs for children's blocks. These baskets are truly versatile. The scarlet basket, accented with soft orange hues, is meticulously sewn from cotton rope, boasting a snugly fitting lid. Its dimensions are 11” in height and 11” in diameter, featuring a touch of scarlet on the lid. Completing the design is a leather tab and an antique brass rivet.
